Meet Taryn Houston. She’s this really talented girl who comes from an amazing family. She is the oldest of six and she is a fantastic big sister.
Taryn is headed to the University of Nevada, Reno! I have a special place in my heart for UNR. I was able to attend for a year, and I love that campus so much! She made an excellent choice. She is going to have an easy time making friends. I have no doubt she will do well academically!
She is interested in the medical field which is very admirable. Not only are there always jobs needed in that field, but it takes a kind heart to do that type work. And Taryn has just that kind heart needed. She mentioned an interest in nursing or dental hygiene. Wherever her education and career lands, she will be incredible.
Taryn is also very athletically gifted! Not only does she play volleyball but basketball and softball too! She is a natural! She is one of those kids who can do anything! Taryn is the kind of teammate who drives you to be better and cheers you on.

Congratulations on graduating this year! I’m so excited to see which career direction you decide to go! You are so smart, very driven, and incredibly talented! Your future is so bright! I wish you nothing but happiness and success at UNR during your college years. It is such an exciting time of life! One where you’ll make many important decisions that will affect the rest of your life. And I know you are going to kill it!
