This is Kyle Barter, a senior at Pershing County High School! I had the privilege of getting to know him at his senior session. Kyle is an incredibly talented athlete! His heart is on the basketball court. He helped the team get to the State Championship in Reno! Even though they lost, they played the best game they ever had. They really gave the other team a good game.

Kyle also is a star pitcher for the Mustang baseball team. His height and arm make him perfect for the job. The Barter family bleeds baseball through and through, so they love to come to games and cheer on Kyle and the Mustangs!

Kyle’s best friend is Maggie Baker. I got to know her a little through private swimming lessons a couple years ago. She was kind enough to teach my daughter, Kiera, how to swim. Maggie is very patient, smart, and caring! Kyle and Maggie have been best friends since 6th grade. So of course we had to get pictures of the two of them! Maggie also plays softball, so it was pretty cool they were both the number 7. I love when clients bring a best friend to the session because it adds an element of relaxation and fun!

After graduation, Kyle is headed to serve in the Air Guard and Maggie is headed to UNR. I’m really excited to see where their future takes them and I know they will be missed at PCHS!

Congratulations on your senior year! You are an incredibly hard worker, and I know the Air Guard is going to be lucky to have you. I am so grateful for those who serve in our military. Our country is indebted to those who sacrifice their time, their abilities and even their lives. I really enjoyed getting to know you and your kind heart. Thank you for trusting me to take your senior pictures! Thank you for being so detail-oriented when it came to setting up the baseball and basketball for pictures so we could see the logos! You and Maggie were such fun clients, and I am excited for you both. I know you will be such an asset in the Air Guard and I wish you the very best!
